Hours per week 37.5 hours per week Normal Work Schedule M-TH 8am-5pm, F 8am-12:30pm Job DetailsCoastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: Transfer Credit Coordinator in the Registrar’s Office.The Transfer Credit Coordinator is responsible for all activity related to the transfer of credit into CCU, to include but not limited to, transcript evaluation for various populations: student, international students, athletes, forms processing for these populations and management of missing transcripts.How to Apply: Interested candidates may apply online athttps://jobs.coastal.edu/postings/121501. Experience working with student transcripts and student information systems.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Datatel (Colleague), experience using Slate.Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To Transfer Credit Evaluation: Evaluates transfer credit for individuals transferring credit to Coastal Carolina University. Including but not limited to first time freshmen, international students, athletes and continuing students. Ensures all transfer work follows university policies as well as standards set by various accreditation bodies within each of the colleges. Works closely with Associate Deans and Department Chairs in establishing permanent equivalencies. Ensures compliance with SACS. Transfer Credit Forms Processing: Processes all forms associated with transfer credit, to include but not limited to, Transfer Credit Evaluation Adjustment forms and Special Enrollment forms. Works closely with faculty and staff to gather necessary documentation. Ensures all forms follow university policies and meet established processing timeframes. Student Athlete Pre-Evaluations: Provides the Compliance Office and Student Athlete Advisors pre-evaluations of perspective student athletes. Works closely with Registrar’s Office Compliance team to ensure information is processed timely to meet the needs of athletics. Ensures all evaluations meet university policies and ensure continued compliance with Sun Belt regulations. Manage Transcript A-2 Holds: Responsible for managing the collection of transcripts needed by transfer and continuing students to ensure a complete record is maintained on each Coastal Carolina University student. Ensures all holds are released at the time of transcript receipt. Provides continuous communication with student. International Transcript Processing: Responsible for processing transfer credit for all incoming international students. Works closely with International Admissions to ensure accuracy and ensure timely processing. Ensures all Coastal Carolina University policies are followed regarding credit evaluation for international students.Program Assistant (AH30/61122291/FTE-S01139P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Grade: GEN06. Salary range: $37,200.00 (minimum) – $48,300.00 (midpoint).
