Provides support to families to help identify their own strengths and needs. Works closely with center staff.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaboration: Develop and maintain professional relationships with families and encourage respectful, ongoing two-way communication while supporting families in goal setting, family needs, and health requirements. Participate in parenting group meetings and other family activities.Enrollment: Enroll eligible children for the 0-5 Head Start program, ensuring vacancies are filled within required timeframes. This includes obtaining required documents from families.Attendance: Monitor individual child attendance. Provide parents with information about the importance of regular attendance and partner with them to address barriers in attending.Recruitment: Actively recruit for the 0-5 Head Start program.Compliance: Maintain caseload of families supporting goal setting, family needs, and health requirements.Community Connection: Awareness of local services, resources, and referrals to share with families.Communication: Communicate regularly with teachers, home visitors, and 8CAP support staff to promote effective case management.Substitute: Fill in as substitute caregiver for 0-5 Head Start classrooms or buses, as needed.Professional Development: Participate in ongoing, required training.Perform Other Duties as Assigned.Our CORE Values at WorkCommunication: Serve as the primary contact for families.
