Supply Chain Intern Working alongside an engaged and hardworking supply chain team, you'll gain hands-on experience in logistics, distribution operations, and continuous improvement. You are curious, analytical, and eager to learn how data and process improvement drive real-world results. You are important to us, so you follow all assigned responsibilities according to established safety & security policies, guidelines, and legal regulations, and we will provideyou with a safe learning and working environment.The day-to-day(Italics indicate essential function)You'll learn how our logistics network functions end-to-end.You'll analyze logistics and transportation data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in routing, delivery methods (including UPS), cost, and safety.With what you learn, you'll recommend, develop, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery time, cost per mile, safety, and compliance.You'll take a look at consistency in operations and recommend improvements to standardize processes.We want to share what you learn, so you'll create and conduct Lean / 5S audits and document the findings.You'll get to assist with WMS (Warehouse Management System) operations by evaluating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and recommending implementation improvements.Working together with distribution and logistics team members, you'll have a hand in special projects.What you haveCurrently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.Strong interest in supply chain, logistics, and operational improvement.Comfort working with data and basic analytical tools (Excel required).Ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally.Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.You might also have (preferred):Exposure to Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement concepts.Experience with dashboards or reporting tools.Interest in warehouse, distribution, or transportation operations.Prior internship, co-op, or operational experience.What you get at B-YReal-world supply chain experienceMentorship and team member supportProfessional development opportunitiesOrganizational Core Values:We care about others.We do the right thing.We pursue great rather than good.We do whatever it takes.
