Manuf. Customer Service Representative (Travelers Rest)

Our client, a global manufacturing company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative with order management experience to process customer inquiries, orders, and shipment-related requests. This role partners closely with customers, sales, planning, warehouse, and accounting teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement in service levels.This is a Direct Hire, on-site position in Travelers Rest, SC.RESPONSIBILITIESSet up, maintain, and update customer accounts and part informationEnter and acknowledge customer purchase orders within 24 business hoursProcess customer requests related to new or revised specifications and part numbersManage open orders, order status, and customer web-based order portalsCoordinate with production planning and warehouse teams to support on-time, in-full deliveriesAllocate finished goods or work-in-process inventory to fulfill customer ordersCommunicate shipping requests and prepare required warehouse and customs documentationGenerate daily shipping reports and calculate shipment estimatesCreate and release invoices on the same day as shipmentCommunicate regularly with customers and respond to inquiries in a timely mannerSupport Sales, Accounting, and Warehouse teams as needed, including month-end closing and auditsPrepare reports and complete additional duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience consideredMinimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or supply chain operations for a manufacturing companyStrong communication, listening, and problem-solving skillsAbility to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environmentCustomer-focused, patient, and confident with a positive attitudeProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:$60,000-70,0003% yearly bonusMedical, dental, and vision benefitsPTO and paid holidaysSCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, on-site
