The intern will help educate students and families, support outreach at schools and community events, and assist HBP partners in promoting healthier beverage choices.Key duties and responsibilities:Deliver brief educational presentations to students, families, and small groups about the health impacts of sugary beverages and healthier alternatives.Conduct one-on-one conversations and informal outreach to answer questions and share resources.Represent HBP at school health fairs, community events, and partner activities; assist with setup, outreach materials, and interactive activities.Help develop and distribute educational materials (flyers, handouts, visuals) with staff guidance.Track outreach activities and help collect simple feedback or attendance data.Attend regular check-ins with HBP staff and partner organizations; participate in training as needed.Qualifications:No prior experience required looking for a motivated, curious, and professional learner with an interest in health and community outreach.Comfortable speaking with peers and community members; good verbal communication skills.Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent 20-hour weekly schedule Monday Friday.Able to work respectfully and collaboratively with diverse community members and partner organizations.What we offer:Supervision and training by HBP staff and partner organizations.Hands-on experience in public health education, community outreach, and partnership work.Valuable community service and professional development for future health-related careers.Application Procedure: APPLY ONLINE
