Position Title - TechnicianJob Title: Electronics TechnicianLocation: Onsite Fargo NDContract: 24 monthsPosition RequirementsVisa sponsorship is not available now or in the futureDrug screen requiredShift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday)PPE Required: Metatarsal safety shoes on Day 1Job PurposeSupport design engineering teams with prototype bring-up, PCB assembly troubleshooting, testing, debugging, and electronic product validation activities.Approximately 60–70% of the role involves PC-based work, including use of TAKAYA APT-1600FD software to create flying probe test programs.Essential Job Functions1. Perform inspection, testing, and failure analysis to determine root causes of defective electronic assemblies.2. Research, collect, and summarize technical data for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.3. Rework products according to company and industry standards.4. Build test harnesses, loads, fixtures, and circuit boards to support product development.5. Document and maintain accurate records of work performed.6. Communicate process or design issues to supervisors and engineering teams; assist with corrective actions.7. Conduct manual testing of electronic circuits and PCBs based on engineering instructions.8. Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.9. Create and update prototype test documentation as required.10. Design and build advanced engineering test boxes.11. Support additional engineering and technician tasks as assigned.12.
