IT Support Specialist
DescriptionRichardson Sports is a premium brand focused on headwear, team uniforms, and performance apparel.This is an entry-level position responsible for providing end-user technical support while assisting in the maintenance and administration of Richardson Sports' network, server, and cloud infrastructure. This position is onsite and based in the office five days per week, serving as a primary point of contact for employee technical support while assisting with systems and network administration. Success in this role requires strong problem solving, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvide end-user workstation hardware and software technical support, particularly troubleshooting connectivity and workstation-network issuesManage user access, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding tasks in a Microsoft 365 environmentSupport maintenance of Windows Server and Active Directory environmentsSupport regular patching and updates of Windows Server and desktop operating systemsAssist with VoIP phone system configuration and maintenance, including phone numbers, extensions, call routing, and voicemailParticipate in scheduled after-hours or weekend maintenance as neededDocument issues, resolutions, and system changesOther duties and projects as assigned by the Technical Services ManagerRequirementsRequired Knowledge & ExperienceFoundational knowledge of Windows desktop operating systemsBasic understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Familiarity with Active Directory conceptsBasic experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and user accounts (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)Strong troubleshooting and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and respond in a timely mannerPreferred Knowledge & ExperienceExposure to enterprise applications (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, databases such as SQL Server)Experience with cloud services such as AWSExperience with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox and VMWareBasic understanding of IT systems administration conceptsEducation & CertificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent combination of experience and relevant certificationsEmployment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and drug screen that tests for cocaine metabolites and amphetamines only.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
