Duties Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining quality standards and adhering to food safety guidelines. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately, handle cash and card payments, and manage sales with precision. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and restocking supplies to keep the restaurant running smoothly. Support food handling procedures including proper storage, portioning, and preparation techniques aligned with health regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service delivery while maintaining attention to detail. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism. Experience with cashiering, upselling techniques, and sales to maximize revenue opportunities.
