With a supportive, family-like culture, we prioritize patient care and satisfaction at every interaction.POSITION SUMMARY:This position is exclusively for Fridays and requires a skilled Mohs Histotech to provide expert histotechnology services in support of Mohs micrographic surgery. The role includes preparation, staining, and quality control of tissue specimens while working closely with dermatologic surgeons.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and section frozen tissue specimens utilizing Mohs surgical techniques specifically on FridaysPerform histological staining and slide preparation with precision and adherence to laboratory protocolsMaintain quality control and ensure accurate documentation of all proceduresCollaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and laboratory personnelMaintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot as needed during Friday shiftsEnsure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards (CLIA, OSHA)Maintain a clean, sterile work environment and proper tissue disposalParticipate in continuing education and training specific to Mohs histotechnologyRequirementsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree in Histotechnology or related fieldCertification as a Histotechnologist (HTL) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) preferredPrevious experience with Mohs histotechnology is strongly preferredAbility to work independently during Friday shiftsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with the clinical teamBenefitsBenefits of joining Qualderm Partners: Competitive Pay - Attractive compensation to reward your hard work Generous 401(k) Plan - Company matches 100% of the first 3%, plus 50% of the next 2%, with immediate vesting Exclusive Employee Discounts - Save on products and services with special discounts just for you Referral Bonus Program - Earn bonuses by referring qualified candidates to join the teamQualDerm Partners is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
