We are seeking aBilingual Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG)to join our medical team in a combined role as aMedical Assistant. This position is ideal for a foreign-trained physician looking to gain valuable experience in a U.S. clinical setting while preparing for licensure or residency. The candidate must be fluent in[e.g., Spanish and English], with excellent spoken and written English skills to communicate effectively with both patients and staff. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Support: Record patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints. Assist providers with physical exams and in-office procedures. Administer vaccines, injections, and perform EKGs as needed. Educate patients on follow-up instructions, medications, and health maintenance. Patient Communication: Translate medical information clearly and accurately between English and [Spanish or other language]. Assist in building trust and comfort with non-English speaking patients. Ensure clear, compassionate communication in all patient interactions. Administrative Duties: Schedule appointments, confirm visits, and manage check-in/check-out. Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR). Answer phones, process referrals, and support front desk operations as needed. Requirements: Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a non-U.S. medical school. Fluent inEnglish and [second language, e.g., Spanish]? both oral and written. Previous clinical or medical office experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, EMR systems, and HIPAA compliance. Medical Assistant certification is a plus, but not required.
