Project Scheduler

Planner/SchedulerLocation: Pasadena, TxDescription: Prepare Engineering, Procurement, and Construction schedules for each phase of a project from proposal through engineering, procurement, and construction.Understand fundamental engineering and construction work sequences and be able adapt to project team and Client requirementsReview schedule information including logic ties and interfaces for accuracyPerform schedule quality analysis using P6 and other software toolsMaintain earned value and forecast data in P6Facilitate Interactive Planning SessionsConsistently meet schedule issue deadlinesWork closely with Project Team to improve performance in project planning and executionPerform schedule variance analysis and communicate schedule trends effectivelyDevelop and recommend solutions and mitigation plans through analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of project dataProactively focus project team and management’s attention to areas of concernSupport internal training, workshops, and/or presentations to other departments or clients on our planning and scheduling work processes, tools, and systems.Embody our Company Core Values in daily activities: Safety, Team Success, Client Experience, and Continuous Improvement.Essential Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field preferred.5+ years of planning / scheduling experience in a capital projects environment.Prior working knowledge and planning experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software (5+ years).Advance working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.Knowledge and/or experience with Power BIAttention to detail, accuracy, completeness and meeting deadlines and commitments is critical.Strong work ethic and analytical skills.Proactive and strong communication and collaboration skills.Participate in routine visits to project sites and fabrication shops to audit progressEnjoys a fast-paced work environment.
