Python DeveloperLocation: Richmond, Virginia (VA)Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Python Developer. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient solutions, and troubleshoot and debug applications.Key Responsibilities:Application Development: Build, test, and maintain efficient applications and systems, utilizing Python and Java to create dynamic, server-driven UI.Collaborative Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support new initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.Serverless Migration: Lead and execute the migration of Java server-based applications (running on ECS) to serverless architecture using AWS Lambda and Python.UI Backend Integration: Develop and enhance server-driven UI, ensuring seamless interaction between the backend and frontend.Optimization & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, optimizing application performance and scalability.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years experience in developing applications using Python.Minimum of 8 years experience in Java development.Proficiency in Angular (JavaScript) for building and managing user interfaces.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services, especially in serverless and cloud-based architectures.Proven ability to develop backend-driven UI features and integrations.Experience with migrating server-based applications to serverless solutions, including AWS Lambda.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
