Warehouse AssociateEventworks is seeking a seasonal Warehouse Associate to start immediately.The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations within the EventWorks full-service event rental environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment, inventory control, equipment handling, and overall warehouse organization. The Warehouse Associate will also be cross-trained to provide backup support for the Linen and Dish Departments as business needs require.This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.BenefitsPotential to be offered full-time permanent role after season is completedEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPull, pick, stage, and verify rental orders accurately based on work orders and schedulesLoad and unload trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and secure transport of rental itemsAssist with inventory control, including counting, restocking, labeling, and reporting discrepanciesInspect rental items for quality and cleanliness prior to staging or returning to inventoryClean, organize, and maintain warehouse areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspaceOperate warehouse equipment (such as pallet jacks and carts) in accordance with safety guidelinesCross-train and provide support in Linen and Dish Departments, including sorting, counting, and preparing items for distributionFollow proper material handling techniques to prevent damage to rental inventoryAdhere to company safety standards and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environmentFollow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and managementPerform additional duties as assigned to support operational needsRequirementsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds consistentlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull for extended periods of timeAbility to climb ladders and work at varying heightsAbility to perform repetitive movements throughout the shiftAbility to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levelsSkills and QualificationsAbility to read, write, and identify numbers accuratelyAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentBasic understanding of warehouse operations preferredPrevious warehouse or event rental industry experience is a plus but not requiredCommitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniquesReliable attendance and punctuality
