This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.YOUR TEAM. YOUR ROLE. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but not limited to: Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accountsTake responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverablesAssist with the process and review of various returnsMust be able to perform various financial analysis including but not limited to balance sheets and income statementsExperience in managing the process of financial statement preparation of compilations and reviews is a plusPrepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual year-end tax projectionsWilling to work on various ad hoc projects as needed during the yearActively participate in proposalsManage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching andfeedbackGain the respect and confidence of the CR team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadershipYour Experience. The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferredCPA, JD or EA preferredMinimum 3-5 years tax experience in a public accounting firmCommercial Services industry experience preferredExceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationshipsStrong tax research and writing skillsProven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookCompetence with tax compliance and research software to include Go Systems, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH, RIASolid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-taskStudies have shown that we are less likely to apply for jobs unless we meet every single qualification.
