Project Engineer

SPX FLOW has approximately $2 billion in annual revenues with operations in more than 30 countries and sales in more than 150 countries About the Job: An exciting opportunity for a systems project engineer as part of a global and passionate group of engineers. In this position, you will be responsible for system designs from concept to production including project management, systems verification/validation, troubleshooting, and customer support. What you will do: Collaborate with Sales Engineers to develop systems quotes Create system design based on sound engineering practices through fluid mechanics calculations and industry standards Draft, design, and maintain fabrication drawings… machining/welding/assembly Manage system structure through bill of materials in ERP system Schedule projects to ensure deadlines are met. Assist with component procurement/quoting/inspection Develop assembly and testing procedures based on customer requirements. Coordinate projects with cross functional groups from quotation and design to manufacturing and packaging. Commission projects and train customers as required. Support aftermarket activities. Education and Background: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical engineering (knowledge of electrical/electromechanical components is a plus) Min experience required of 2 years (chemical or food and beverage experience preferred) Excellent project and document management skills Ability to handle multiple projects at once Strong understanding of Fluid Dynamics Proficient in MS Office Must have strong knowledge of CAD tools (Autodesk preferred) Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing Ability to work with diverse global teams from engineering to sourcing Hand-on attitude with excellent communication skills Benefits: Competitive Compensation Health Benefits, Life & Disability Insurance, and 401(k) plan Quick career development Great culture with mentors to help you grow personally and professionally Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
