Certified Nurse Assistant I - 6596US:CA:San Diego | CNA & Caregiver | Full Time, Hourly, 36+ hours a week23.00 - 24.00 USD per hourDescriptionWesley Palms Retirement Community is Hiring!Certified Nursing Assistant / C.N.A.Full Time: P.M Shift, Sunday - Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (Friday and Saturday Off)Pay Range: $23.00 - $24.00 per hourSummary:Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, DSD and/or DON, the CNA is responsible for performing routine patient/resident care according to policies and procedures and within acceptable nursing standards.Detailed responsibilities:Certified Nurse Assistant 1 (CNA, Residential) - Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfactionMedication ManagementFollows infection control techniques in performing patient/resident careObserves and reports signs and symptoms of changes in conditionExchanges information necessary for quality patient/resident carePrioritizes patient/resident activities based on current care needsMaintains all documentation as required by Federal and State regulations and Company policyProvides proper documentation including but not limited to electronic record keepingPerforms all duties in a safe and efficient mannerUses equipment correctly and safely in performing patient/resident careFollows department safety protocols at all timesWears safety equipment as required for the jobReports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisorFollows highest standards of cleanlinessFollows all federal, state and corporate policies, health codes and guidelines in preparation and handling of foodstuffsAttends all mandatory in-service meetingsComplies with all department and facilities policies and proceduresCompetencies and skills: Essential:Strong verbal and professional written communication skillsCredentials: Essential:Certified Nurse AssistantEducation with Equivalent Qualifications: Essential:High School diploma or GEDExperience with Equivalent Qualifications:Knowledge of State and Federal regulations1+ Years of experience in a long term care, geriatric or rehabilitative settingCompensation Disclaimer: The actual compensation offered will depend on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, training, education, and licensure/certifications (as applicable).Front Porch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
