Outpatient Therapist TN Strong Families 16 hrs per week

RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center, has an immediate opening for a social work or counseling Outpatient Therapist to provide individual and group therapy to pregnant/ new mothers in Campbell and Scott counties under the TN Strong Families grant (16 hours/week). Travel time will be covered from the right candidate's primary location, which may be LaFollette or Oneida, whichever is closest to their home. The schedule will be one day per week in LaFollette and one day per week in Oneida, preferably with a Tuesday/Thursday daytime schedule.New grads are welcome! On TN state licensure track to obtain LCSW, LPC-MHSP, or LMFT license. Must be trained in providing trauma-informed treatment with willingness to become trauma-certified. Prefer 1+ years of experience working with mothers and/or clients suffering with substance use issues. Prefer group therapy skills for grant-based positions. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with people from differing backgrounds and cultures.Job DutiesResponsible for the delivery of trauma-informed group and individual therapy services consisting of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including psychotherapy and consultation with other disciplines. Therapist will utilize Mothers and Babies, Nurturing Parenting, and Seeking Safety Evidence-Based Curriculums for groups as appropriate and will be responsible for making clinically-indicated referrals for treatment services both within, and outside of, Ridgeview’s service continuum. Must be willing to travel between offices as these services are provided in Scott and Campbell Counties.
