You are adaptable and able to juggle multiple initiatives concurrently.ResponsibilitiesOperate and drive heavy haul trucks to transport tons of materials over short distances in a surface environment.Perform inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights, turn signals and brakesEnsure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirementsFollow all safety policies, procedures and legislationMaintain paper or electronic logbookCommunicate with Dispatcher and other Haul Truck Drivers using communication devices such as a two-ways radio or onboard computersMay drive special purpose vehicles, including end dump trucks, center dump truck units and water trucksRequirementsSafety oriented, awareness of everyone and everything that is around youStrong work ethicWillingness to learnAbility to be flexible and to adaptExperience with heavy equipmentPreferred to have MSHA training
