That's where you come in.We're looking for an Elastic Observability Engineer to join our Engineering team at our Greenville, SC Homebase.About the RoleThis isn't just a monitoring job — it's a mission-critical role at the heart of our technology platform. As our Elastic Observability Engineer, you'll design, implement, and maintain the enterprise-grade monitoring, logging, and alerting systems that keep our most important platforms running at their best.You'll leverage the full power of the Elastic Stack — Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, APM, Beats, and Elastic Agent — to build intelligent observability frameworks that detect issues before customers ever feel them. From Point-of-Sale and Collections to Treasury and Credit Risk, your work will directly protect the systems that matter most to the people we serve.What You'll Do✅ Design and maintain enterprise monitoring and alerting solutions using the Elastic Stack✅ Build real-time dashboards and visualizations that give teams instant operational clarity✅ Configure proactive alerting to detect anomalies and system failures early✅ Manage log ingestion pipelines, data lifecycle policies, and Elastic Cloud clusters✅ Integrate observability into containerized environments including Kubernetes and Rancher✅ Identify patterns in system telemetry to prevent outages before they occur✅ Automate monitoring configurations using Infrastructure-as-Code practices✅ Collaborate with and mentor cross-functional teams to build a culture of observabilityWhat You Bring5+ years of hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack in enterprise environmentsStrong background in monitoring and alerting design, preferably in financial servicesExperience in hybrid Linux/Windows/AWS environmentsFamiliarity with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud-native architecturesA proactive mindset — you find problems before they find your customersWhy Purpose Financial?We're proud to be a certified Great Place to Work — and we mean it.
