Deputy Director, IT network and InfrastructureHealthcare | Full-Time | HybridHouston, TXAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Deputy Director of IT network and Infrastructure to lead and manage our organization's technology infrastructure which is primarily on-prem. In this hands-on role, you will oversee all aspects of IT systems, networks, servers, and cloud environments that support our clinical and administrative operations. You will serve as a key technology leader, ensuring that the infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with healthcare industry standards and compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all IT network and infrastructure functions including servers, networking, storage, cloud systems, and end-user computing across the organization. Primarily on-prem.Develop and execute a multi-year IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with organizational growth and healthcare technology trends.Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of all infrastructure systems supporting clinical and business operations.Oversee IT security initiatives including vulnerability management, threat detection, and compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations.Manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate new solutions to meet evolving operational needs.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and executive stakeholders to understand technology needs and deliver effective solutions.Manage the IT infrastructure budget, including capital and operational expenditures, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services.Establish and maintain disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response plans.Oversee end-user support operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and timely resolution of technical issues.QualificationsRequired7+ years of progressive IT networking and infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.Demonstrated experience managing enterprise infrastructure in a healthcare, clinical laboratory, or similarly regulated environment.Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, virtualization, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and IT security practices.Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements and healthcare IT regulatory standards.Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and technology contracts.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.PreferredExperience supporting a hybrid work environment and multi-site operations.Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified, or equivalent.Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).What We OfferCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Hybrid work schedule with flexibility.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven healthcare organization.Collaborative, supportive team culture with opportunities for professional growth.Deputy Director, IT network and InfrastructureHealthcare | Full-Time | HybridHouston, TXAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Deputy Director of IT network and Infrastructure to lead and manage our organization's technology infrastructure which is primarily on-prem.
