Position Overview: Entrust is looking for a Software Development Co-Op student to join our team for a 6 to 12 months experience in Shakopee, MN at our Corporate headquarters.Join Entrust as a co-op student in our Engineering Group. Gain hands-on experience in your focus area of study. The Program allows undergraduate students an opportunity to gain experience and develop skills through challenging work assignments that truly add value to the business.ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development - 50%Design, develop, test, document and deploy softwareAssist in reviewing product requirements and estimation of workWork with test group to validate functionalitySoftware Continuation - 20%Review and Respond to reported field problemsTry to reproduce problemFix and/or identify workaround to the problemReviewing and Testing work from others on the team - 30%Reviewing and unit testing code from others on teamReviewing Technical documents of released functionalityBasic QualificationsPursuing bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree.Experience with Java, C++ and/or C# software development.Experience with Windows updates and security Windows OS systemsExperience with diagnosticsMust be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US.Preferred QualificationsSubversionExperience in Python,.NET, Windows developmentGUI application programing using Java SwingExperienced with agile processes, methodologies, and tools on multi-person teams and projectsExperience or desire working with machine vision systemsExperience with image generation and processing including color managed workflowsExperience with concurrency/multi-threaded development environmentsExperience or interest working with mechanical systemsAbout EntrustOur growing company relies on curious, dedicated and innovative colleagues to anticipate the future and provide solutions for a more connected, mobile and secure world.
