Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking Plant Maintenance Workers to work with a top energy and utility company in the Moundsville, WV area. This company is highly reputable with several awards for growth, equality, and safety.Job SummaryPerform manual duties in power plants to maintain cleanliness and neat appearance of the facility.Essential Job Functions & TasksGeneral Housekeeping/Area Clean Up: Clean floors, wash equipment, perform visual operation checks in various plant areas.Dust/Spill Management: Sweep/shovel spill areas, clean around cranes, manage coal dust.Dump dumpsters and fill kerosene heaters.Snow/ICE Removal: Clear doorways and walkways, apply salt as needed.Assist with unloading fuel trucks and perform preventative maintenance tasks.Manage Tool Room: Track inventory, scan tools, perform rigging checks.Replace drain pig mats for environmental safety.Fire Checks: Monthly fire extinguisher checks, valve checks, hose testing.Grounds Maintenance: Mowing, weed eating.Painting, changing light bulbs, patching holes, handling small plumbing issues.Assist during wet coal situations.Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED, less than one year of experience.Other RequirementsMust learn and comply with plant operating instructions and safety practices.Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and manuals.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Professional conduct and interaction with employees and contractors.Willing to work rotating shifts and respond to callouts.Successful completion of the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS) tests required.About Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS):ITS is an international recruiting and staffing firm specializing in Engineering, Technical and Professional positions.
