Shaw Elementary School58 Elmwood StreetMillbury, MA 0152Posted: April 21, 2026Closing date: Posted until filledREPORTS TO: Building Leadership TeamPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:provide high-quality, rigorous, direct instruction to students;collaborate with grade-level and special education teams to provide quality instruction to students;analyze and use data to inform instruction;participate fully in professional development;perform other professional duties as assigned by the Building Administration.ABILITY TO:establish and maintain cooperative, collaborative, and effective working relationships with others;establish positive relationships with students and their families by creating two-way lines of communication;communicate clearly in oral and written form with confidentiality;analyze data accurately in order to inform instructional practices and develop systems of intervention;reflect on student learning, teaching practices, and feedback;effectively use instructional technology to meet the needs of all learners.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Teaching experience preferred;valid Massachusetts Elementary Teacher Licensure with SEI Endorsement, required;demonstrated knowledge of and experience with research-based assessments;demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.SALARY: In accordance with the Millbury Teachers' Association contractLetter of application should include information regarding educational preparation, classroom experience, and appropriate licensure.
