Job Role : Software Development EngineerLocation : Palo Alto, CA (Onsite)Duration: 12-18+ months W2 ContractNOTE: Ex-Broadcom/VMware will be preferred.Job DescriptionProgramming Languages: JAVA, Python, Groovy, JavaScriptCloud Technologies and Container Tools: Docker, KubernetesDatabase Management: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, RedisDevelopment Tools: IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans, SVN, GITFrameworks: Spring, Grails, jQuery, AngularJS, ExtJsUnderstanding of Unix/Linux systems.Proficient in one or more advanced programming languages such as Java, and Python.Experience with container orchestrators (Kubernetes, Docker Native Orchestration,Mesos, Docker Swarm).Experience with streaming or queuing systems such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.Experience engineering, operating, troubleshooting and testing SaaS/Cloud services.Excellent troubleshooting, critical thinking, and data analysis skills.Systematic problem-solving approach.Deep understanding of distributed computing concepts in practice.Ability to work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment, includingquickly getting up to speed with new technologies.
