Learn more at etadventures.com.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Reviewing travel itineraries created by our sales team and adding specific timing so that reservations for sightseeing activities can be madeMaking group hotel reservations, including sourcing quality hotels, negotiating room rates, and reviewing hotel contractsArranging restaurant reservations by identifying suitable restaurants, selecting group menus, and negotiating pricingMaking reservations for various sightseeing attractions.Researching and securing performance venues for student choirs, bands and orchestras that will perform as part of their tripInteract with our sales team to provide information about hotels, restaurants, attractions and performance opportunities that they can use in preparing quotes for prospective groupsAnswering general customer service phone calls and chat sessions from our websiteRequired Qualifications:Must have at least 2 years of experience in the group travel industryKnowledge and familiarity with international travel destinations throughout Europe - Italy, Spain, France and the UK are our most popular destinationsComfortable communicating with people who are non-native English speakersAble to be flexible about working hours when communication with people in European time zones is necessaryMust be comfortable with basic arithmetic for calculating prices in various currenciesMust be tech-savvy and comfortable working within a computer reservation system as well as using Word, Excel, and Google SuiteAbility to successfully work independently and within a teamHighly motivated and a willingness to learnGreat time management skillsStrong negotiating skillsMust be detail-oriented and have a sharp memoryAbility to problem-solve quicklyExcellent written and verbal English skillsAdaptable, flexible, and ready to help wherever neededGood sense of humor and a positive attitudeCompensation and Benefits Annual salary: Negotiable based upon experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance (85% of the monthly cost covered by ETA)401K Retirement Plan with ETA matching 4% of employee contributions10 paid holidays (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidentsʼ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Juneteenth, Christmas Day, New Yearʼs Day )December 26th through 31st (during this week after Christmas employees must check email, voicemail, and respond to co-worker inquiries.)10 paid vacation days3 paid sick days2 paid floating holidaysWork DescriptionThe work is full-time and remote with a requirement to work in the office at least one days per week in central New Jersey. The role typically works 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time Monday through Friday but often involves calls outside of those hours to accommodate clients. You will be provided electronic equipment to use for work.There are typically two company wide employee gatherings per year, often in New Jersey (Freehold, NJ is where the companyʼs central office is located) or nearby. One of these gatherings usually takes place in August, and the other usually in early December. The company covers travel expenses for these gatherings and attendance is mandatory.Part of onboarding includes attending a familiarization tour - going on one of the ETA trips as a ride along to get familiar with ETAʼs product.
