Software Developer (Big Data)

Location: Alpharetta, GA. Department: Development Conduct requirements (business and functional) analysis, requirements traceability, data mining, data profiling, data/information research, cleansing, identify data anomalies, post load data/load quality checks. Conduct HQL coding using temp/volatile tables and complex joins. Perform SQOOP Import and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) on large data volumes. Create documentation, produce source to target maps, understand and validate metrics Implement HDFS-based computing frameworks including Spark and STORM. Provide operational support for Hadoop based Big Data Platforms. Develop program modules using JVM-based languages such as Scala, Java, Python, R, Hadoop languages such as Hive, Pig, high performance data libraries including Spark, NumPy, TensorFlow. Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Equivalent. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience accepted. Other Full Time.
