This role involves working at micron-level precision on high-performance laser systems.If you have not worked directly with optics, lasers, or fiber systems, this position will not be a fit.What You Will DoAssemble and test fiber laser systems and subassembliesPerform optical alignment (lenses, mirrors, fiber coupling)Handle and route fiber optics, including splicing where applicableTroubleshoot alignment, output power, and system performanceExecute detailed build and test procedures with zero deviationRecord and document test data and system performanceCollaborate with engineering to refine builds and resolve technical issuesYOU MUST HAVE (Non-Negotiable)Hands-on experience with at least ONE of the following:Fiber opticsOptical alignmentLaser systemsExperience with precision assembly (tight tolerances, delicate components)Ability to follow detailed procedures with extreme accuracy and consistencyExperience in a lab, cleanroom, or precision manufacturing environmentSTRONG PREFERREDFiber splicing (fusion splicing) experienceExperience with fiber laser systems or photonics equipmentFamiliarity with optical test equipment (power meters, beam analysis, oscilloscopes)Background in photonics, optics, laser technology, or related fieldDO NOT APPLY IF:Your experience is limited to general assembly or production line workYou have not worked with optics, lasers, or fiber systemsYou prioritize speed over precision and accuracyYou are not comfortable with repetitive, detail-critical workCompensation$19.00 - $23.00/hour DOE Higher compensation available for candidates with direct fiber laser or photonics experience.Required Application ResponseDescribe your hands-on experience with fiber optics, laser systems, or optical alignment.
