Forklift OperatorJoin Carlisle Companies Incorporated as an Forklift Operator/Line Driver, where you'll play a hands-on role in producing high-quality building materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll operate a forklift, support experienced operators, and ensure products meet Carlisle's safety and quality standards. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with occasional overtime and no travel required. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, take pride in safety and quality, and want to grow their skills within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.Shift: Sunday- Thursday 8 pm- 6:30 am, OT as requiredStarting Pay: $26.33-$27.33Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a forklift within your assigned department to complete production work orders safely and efficientlyReview work orders and ensure proper materials are available to meet production needsMaintain standard work and optimal performancePerform safety-critical tasks including lockout/tagout, daily equipment inspections, and hazard-based functionsStack, sort, bundle, and package materials according to departmental standardsSupport Operators II and III with packaging and end-of-line operations as neededRecord production and quality data to support continuous improvement effortsParticipate in housekeeping, 5S activities, and SQDC initiativesAssist with quality checks to verify production parameters are metMeet production goals while strictly adhering to all safety requirementsPerform other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong work ethic with a high level of motivation and reliabilityCommitment to safe work practices and attention to detailAbility to follow company policies, procedures, and standard workEffective communication, organization, and time-management skillsBasic computer, math, and problem-solving skillsAbility to use measuring tools such as gauges, tape measures, and rulersTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to take direction from supervisors and peersWillingness and ability to learn new equipment and processesEducation & ExperienceRequired: Must be at least 18 years of age, FL experiencePreferred: High School Diploma or GED, Previous manufacturing or production experienceWorking ConditionsFast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, mechanical parts, pinch points, and varying temperaturesElevated noise levels requiring hearing protectionHeavy, stationary machinery on the production floorShifts range from 810 hours, depending on schedule and business needsFlexibility to work overtime and weekends when requiredEquipment & Tools UsedProduction machinery and hand toolsMeasuring devices, radios, and calculatorsShop floor systems and ERP softwarePersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)Eye and hearing protection (required at all times on the production floor)Safety-toe footwear (steel or composite)High-visibility vestsAdditional PPE as required by department or management
