Patient Services Representative (Telephone Operator)We are seeking two dependable, patient-focused Patient Services Representatives to support our telephone operations. This role is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized in a high-volume environment, and understands that excellent customer service begins with the first phone call.What you'll do:Answer a high volume of incoming calls in a professional and friendly mannerSchedule patient appointments accurately based on provider and visit type guidelinesGather and document necessary information, including insurance and patient history when appropriateCreate and complete phone notes to ensure clear communication within the care teamRoute calls and messages appropriately to clinical staff and departmentsAssist patients with questions related to scheduling, referrals, and office processesProvide a calm, helpful experience for patients calling the clinicCollaborate closely with front office, clinical staff, and referral coordinators to ensure patients are scheduled appropriatelyWhat we're looking for:Healthcare experience strongly preferredExcellent phone presence and customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working with electronic medical records and scheduling systemsAbility to remain professional and composed while managing multiple calls and requestsNote: This description reflects the primary functions of the role but is not exhaustive.
