Maintenance Technician - Heavy Equipment

Job Description About the Role Boschung America is hiring aMaintenance Technicianto service and repair specialized equipment used in airport and municipal operations, including snow removal and surface maintenance equipment. This role focuses on keeping critical equipment safe, reliable, and ready for operation. What You’ll Do Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment (trucks, sweepers, etc.) Troubleshoot equipment issues and respond to breakdowns Read schematics and technical manuals Maintain service records and ensure equipment safety compliance Operate shop equipment and support field service as needed What We’re Looking For 2+ years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge Ability to troubleshoot and work independently Experience with industrial or municipal equipment preferred Valid driver’s license required Work Environment Mix of shop and field work in varying weather conditions Physical role (lifting, standing, climbing as needed) Overtime is expected based on workload and seasonal demand Safety-focused culture
