Project Field Engineering ManagerCentral Texas | Site Based | Major Greenfield DevelopmentWe are supporting a privately backed developer delivering a major greenfield data center and power infrastructure development in Central Texas.We are looking for an experienced Field Engineering Manager to provide engineering leadership at site throughout construction, commissioning and start-up.This is a hands-on field engineering role rather than a traditional design-office position. The successful candidate will sit at the interface between engineering and construction, ensuring designs can be effectively executed in the field and technical issues are resolved quickly.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate field engineering activities across the projectAct as the key interface between Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, contractors and vendorsManage RFIs, technical queries, field changes and design clarificationsResolve engineering and constructability issues arising during constructionCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering support across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and controlsReview drawings, specifications and technical documentation against field conditionsManage engineering interfaces between multiple contractors and work packagesSupport system turnover, commissioning and start-upEnsure field modifications and as-built documentation are appropriately controlledProvide technical leadership to the field engineering teamExperienceWe are particularly interested in individuals who have delivered major, technically complex projects within:LNG | Oil & Gas | Petrochemical | Power | Data Centers | Major EPC ProjectsYou may currently be working as a Field Engineering Manager, Area Field Engineer, Lead Field Engineer, Construction Engineering Manager or Senior Field Engineer.Experience working through construction, mechanical completion, commissioning and start-up on a major greenfield project will be highly valued.Previous data center experience is not essential.This is an opportunity to bring major-project field engineering experience into one of the fastest-growing infrastructure sectors in the US.Apply directly or contact me for a confidential discussion.
