Artisan Foot & Ankle Specialists is part of Balance Health, the nation's premier comprehensive lower-extremity focused Physician Practice. We are seeking to hire an experienced Podiatrist for our Orange County, California Region. Under the direction of the CMO, the Surgical Podiatrist provides routine and referral podiatric services to patients. We provide leading podiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists with operational support so they can spend their time focused on growing their business and delivering exceptional patient care. Examine patients' legs and feet to diagnose diseasesTreat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and anklesPerform Wound Care managementDiagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test resultsPrescribes medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgeryAdvise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problemsProvide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care teamProvide health promotion and preventive medicineMaintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients RequirementsAbility to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progressKnowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical careKnowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformitiesAbility to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor populationBe proficient with computers, and have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, EMR database Education and ExperienceMinimum of three (3) years professional experience preferredCurrent License as a Podiatrist in the State of CaliforniaDoctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of PodiatryCompletion of an accredited podiatric residency program Benefits of Working with Bay Area Foot CareMedical, Dental, and Vision PlansHSA with Employer ContributionFSAGenerous PTO Program401k with a 3% MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability To find out more, visit https://www.balancehealth.com/ Salary Description $150,000-$600,000 base, plus % of collections
