WHAT WE NEED: Process Engineer The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality within the organization. This role involves conducting in-depth analysis, designing process improvements, and providing technical support to the production team. The Process Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Responsibilities: Deliver process engineering services that meet Sigma and its clients' standards within proposed schedule and budget. Develop and implement innovative process designs and improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization. Identify issues, provide technical expertise, and recommend effective solutions to resolve problems or optimize existing designs. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, safety standards and regulations throughout the design and development processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination, integration of project activities and project execution. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to manage project deliverables. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize engineering processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality and reliability. Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including drawings, test reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and project records. Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations to communicate findings, project progress, performance, and any process related concerns and recommendations to stakeholders. Participate in the development and implementation of engineering standards, best practices, and quality control procedures. Work closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to provide guidance, support, and technical expertise. WHO WE NEED: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field. A strong working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields. 2-5 years of experience in process engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze complex data sets. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledgeable in the use of hydraulic simulation software such as AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, PIPEPHASE, PIPE-FLO, and/or SiNet. Knowledgeable in the use of process simulation software such as Aspen Plus, Aspen Plus Dynamics, PRO/II, DYNSIM, HYSYS, CHEMCAD, WinGEMS, ProMax, etc. E xcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
