Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and facilities maintenance, with experience in fabricating and repairing equipment. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, and the successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and communicating with the Mosites team. Mosites Rubber Co. is one of the leading rubber manufactures for decades in which we specialize in rubber made products in all forms of industry. Skills: - Mechanical knowledge - Fabricate - Welding - Ohmmeter - Schematics - Facilities maintenance - Residential painting - Logic controllers - Piping - Troubleshooting Duties: - Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal operation of our facilities, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment. - Conduct repairs and fabricate parts as needed to resolve issues. - Utilize a variety of tools - Read and understand schematics and blueprints to identify and fix issues. - Operate logic controllers to monitor and control equipment and systems. - Work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. - Keep up with PM sheets on various types of equipment. - Ability to work safety in various heights in Piping and Plumbing applications - Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain a clean and organized workspace. - Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay up to date with the latest technologies and techniques. Experience: - 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance and repair. - Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various types of equipment and systems. - Experience with residential painting and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools. - Experience in using and operating a forklift - Familiar with Piping operations, Threading and replacing pipes Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift Work Location: In person
