SummaryThe Material Program Manager (MPM) serves as Supply Chain Management’s primary program-facing integrator for assigned commercial and/or military programs.This role coordinates Planning, Procurement, Supplier Performance, and Logistics activities to support material readiness, program schedules, and financial objectives. The MPM ensures material risks, shortages, supplier constraints, and configuration changes are identified, communicated, and managed within the program operating rhythm.The MPM operates within Integrated Product Team (IPT) and program management structures, translating supply chain execution into program-level schedule, cost, and readiness impacts.For programs operating within EVMS or EVMS-Lite environments, the MPM may serve as the SCM Control Account Manager (CAM), supporting schedule alignment, forecasting, variance analysis, and execution visibility.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesServe as SCM’s primary day-to-day interface to Program Management for assigned programsCoordinate Planning, Procurement, Supplier Performance, and Logistics execution activities to support program milestones and material readinessManage program-level material readiness and shortage visibilityMaintain structured visibility to material constraints, supplier risks, and recovery actionsEnsure alignment between program schedules and SCM execution plansCoordinate integration of engineering releases, ECOs/DCNs, and configuration changes into SCM execution activitiesDrive cross-functional action tracking and accountability for SCM-related program risksTranslate material and supplier execution issues into program-level schedule and financial impactsSupport program forecasting, ETC/EAC updates, and execution status reportingSupport development and maintenance of SCM program metrics, readiness reporting, and recovery plansLead SCM participation in program readiness reviews, risk reviews, and execution meetingsCoordinate with Supplier Performance organization regarding supplier performance issues, escalations, and recovery activitiesSupport identification and mitigation of long-lead material and supplier risksEnsure ERP and planning system data supports accurate execution and reportingSupport continuous improvement of SCM program execution processes and reporting methodsEVMS / CAM ResponsibilitiesServe as SCM CAM for assigned control accounts or work packagesSupport development and maintenance of time-phased material forecasts and execution plansSupport variance analysis, corrective action planning, and estimate-at-completion activitiesEnsure SCM execution status accurately reflects program and financial performanceParticipate in program reviews, baseline updates, and change management activitiesCompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Greenpoint Core CompetenciesAdaptability - Writes clearly and informatively, edits work for spelling and grammar, varies writing style to meet needs, and presents numerical data effectively.Planning & Organization – You prioritize and plan work activities, you use time efficiently, you plan for additional resources, you integrate changes smoothly, you set goals and objectives, and you work in an organized manner.Oral Communications – You speak clearly and persuasively, you listen and get clarification, you respond well to questions, you demonstrate group presentation skills, and you participate in meetings.EducationSummary of Education, Experience & CertificationBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field required.Experience5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, program support, or operationsExperience working in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing environments preferredExperience supporting program execution, material readiness, or shortage management activitiesExperience coordinating cross-functional execution activitiesExperience working within ERP systems and schedule-driven environmentsExperience supporting customer-driven or engineer-to-order programs preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience in aircraft interiors, completions, or highly customized aerospace programsFamiliarity with EVMS, CBSD, or similar structured program management environmentsExperience supporting multi-program environments with shared suppliers and resourcesCertifications (Preferred)PMP or equivalent program management certificationAPICS (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalentLean / Six Sigma certificationEmployees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong understanding of material flow, shortages, and program executionAbility to coordinate across Planning, Procurement, Supplier Performance, Logistics, Engineering, and Program ManagementStrong organizational and follow-through capabilityAbility to communicate execution risk clearly and conciselyAbility to manage competing priorities in dynamic environmentsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of ERP and material planning systemsThe expected WA salary range for this position is between $90,000.00 - $124,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
