GER has an opening for a Solid Waste Engineer with 10 years’ experience. Seeking applicants to work in our Jefferson City office. Must accept project management and marketing responsibilities. Quick, upward growth potential.
Requirements for position:
P.E. license in Missouri, or ability to obtain it through reciprocity.
BS degree or higher in Engineering, Civil or Environmental.
Earthwork design and construction quality assurance experience.
Task leadership, self-discipline and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills in working with clients, sub-consultants, and project stakeholders.
Self-starter, able to work independently, and as part of a project team.
Task implementation and completion.
Mentoring team members for professional growth.
Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
Intermittent travel, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Types of Projects include:
Civil Design;
Water Resources;
Storm Water Management;
Geotechnical Investigations;
Construction Quality Assurance;
Wastewater Collection & Treatment;
Environmental Permitting And Compliance;
Environmental Site Assessments And Remediation; and
Solid Waste Management.
Work Assignments may include:
Pre-design investigation and evaluation;
Preliminary Planning;
Conceptual Design;
Design Development;
Permitting, Environmental and Local;
Preparation of Construction Documents;
Cost Estimating / Quantity Estimating; and,
Construction Observations; Flow Measurements.
