Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Cloud Software Engineer in McLean, VirginiaQualificationsRequired Qualifications: 5 years experience with python app dev3 years experience with one of the following: python web app frameworks: falsk, django, or fastapri3 years experience with unit esting using one of the following python testing frameworks: unit test or PyTest5 years experience with Linux Operating Systems such as Centos, Rocky, RHEL5 years experience with developing software that runs within the AWS cloud3 years experience with the AWS SDK for Java, Python (boto3) or any other programming language3 years experience with Relationship Databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, or PostgresSQL5 years experience working in teams using Agile Software DevelopmentProficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration; familiarity with use of AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).Experience deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in an AWS ecosystems through AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), Cloudformation, Terraform, or other.Experience deploying and managing databases securely, at scale in a cloud environmentExperience implementing end-to-end logging and monitoring into applications, and using it to troubleshoot issues.Understanding of software development tools for managing CI/CD pipelines, codebases, etc.Documented used of Python as a programming languageUnderstanding of options for managing access to systems and data, to include datastores, applications, etc.Desired QualificationsBackground in software engineering, including experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go).Development of APIs in common frameworks such as FastAPIExperience managing graph databases, such as Neo4jRelevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.Experience developing data flows, combining multiple AWS constructs such as S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, or otherWhat you can expect from usBCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
