EHS&S EngineerAn outstanding opportunity has become available with our Client Company due to an internal promotion—demonstrating the organization's commitment to developing and advancing its employees.Our client is a respected global manufacturing company seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) Engineer to help lead environmental, health, safety, and security initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities in the Eastern Tennessee region.If you're passionate about creating a world-class safety culture while partnering with manufacturing leadership to drive continuous improvement, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career.Responsibilities IncludeLead Environmental, Health, Safety & Security programs across multiple manufacturing facilitiesDevelop and implement strategic EHSS initiatives that improve workplace safety and environmental complianceManage departmental budgets and safety improvement projectsRepresent the facility on the Global EHSS CouncilLead ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and continuous improvement initiativesConduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety observations, incident investigations, and risk assessmentsDevelop and deliver EHSS training programs for employees and leadershipEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, TDEC, and other federal, state, and local regulationsManage Workers' Compensation processes and injury reduction initiativesMonitor key performance metrics and recommend process improvementsPromote a proactive safety culture throughout the organizationQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred5+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing environment (with degree)8+ years of manufacturing EHS experience (without degree)Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, TDEC, and environmental regulationsExperience implementing or managing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systemsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsStrong leadership abilities with the confidence to influence all levels of the organizationProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsYou'll join a growing global manufacturer that invests in its employees, values safety, and offers outstanding long-term career opportunities.
