Job DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a travel Clinic Ob/Gyn Sonographer for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Ob/Gyn SonographerDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Days, 5x8hrsHours: 40 hrs/wkStart Date: Mar 9, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a Women's Health Ultrasound/Sonographer-Genetics with at least 2 years of perinatal/MFM and GYN ultrasound experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification.DetailsPosition is based in an outpatient women's health clinic with potential float to additional local locations as neededPerforms a daily caseload of typically 8-10 ultrasound exams per shiftPrimary scans include fetal Dopplers (umbilical, middle cerebral artery, ductus venosus), biophysical profiles, fetal biometry, first trimester assessments, nuchal translucency, transvaginal cervical length, and transvaginal GYN studies in accordance with AIUM guidelinesDay shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through FridayNo on-call, holiday, or weekend requirementsUses Epic EMR systemMay float within scope to meet facility needsRequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in perinatal/MFM and GYN ultrasoundARDMS certification in OB/GYN and current BLS (AHA only) requiredGraduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography requiredExperience performing detailed anatomical surveys per AIUM guidelinesEpic charting experience preferredSocial Security Number and Driver's License required for considerationSC state ultrasound licensure not required; license required if applicableCandidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel ratesPending state license not accepted; SC license must be active prior to startAdditional InformationFirst-time travelers are acceptedBlock scheduling requests may be considered but are not guaranteedAll requested time off must be included at time of application and is subject to approvalNavy blue or pink scrubs requiredFree parking available at Hagood locationUnit orientation provided on site during regular hoursAll employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)Previous employees must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as travelersLocals considered on a case-by-case basis at a lower rateAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-671175.
