Registered Nurse (RN)

This position is located at Deer Lodge Medical Center in Deer Lodge Montana. We are hiring a full-time night shift Med-Surg RN working 3 - 12 hour shifts each week from 6PM to 6AM. Partial ED coverage required so ED experience is required as well. Duties: - Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles - Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and implement appropriate nursing interventions - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician - Monitor and document patients' responses to medications and treatments - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement a plan of care for each patient - Educate patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and self-care techniques - Maintain accurate and complete medical records - Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to ensure patient safety - Utilize electronic health record systems Requirements: - Valid RN license in the state of Montana - BLS -ACLS and PALS (or ENPC) required within 6 mos. TNCC required within 1 year. Preferred: - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a med surg setting We offer competitive compensation packages, full benefits, and retention bonus.
