As a locally owned business, RoofDog is deeply committed to its community, its customers, and maintaining the highest standards in the industry.Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Sales Professional role based in Argyle, TX, with some flexibility to work from home. The Sales Professional will identify and qualify residential and commercial roofing opportunities, conduct on-site roof inspections, and provide honest, transparent assessments to property owners. Daily tasks include meeting with prospective clients, presenting solutions and estimates, managing a sales pipeline, and following up consistently to move opportunities to close. The role involves coordinating with project managers and operations to ensure accurate scopes of work, timelines, and customer expectations. The Sales Professional will also network locally, attend community events as needed, and maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM while upholding RoofDog’s values of integrity, accountability, and exceptional customer service.Qualifications Proven sales skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, and closing, ideally in roofing, construction, or home services.Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities, with clear, empathetic, and professional communication skills.Ability to conduct on-site inspections, interpret basic measurements, and learn roofing systems, materials, and industry terminology.Comfort with using CRM tools, email, and basic office software to track leads, proposals, and follow-ups.High level of integrity, accountability, and follow-through, with a strong commitment to transparency and customer trust.Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage a schedule, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a hybrid environment.Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally for appointments and community events.Previous experience in roofing, exterior services, insurance restoration, or construction sales is preferred but not required.Comfort working outdoors and climbing ladders, with adherence to all safety guidelines and company procedures.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or sales training is a plus.
