Warehouse SupervisorDepartment: Operations / ProductionReports To: ManagerLocation: On-siteFLSA Status: Exempt / Non-Exempt (as applicable)Position SummaryThe Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading, developing, and engaging team members while ensuring production goals, food safety, quality, and compliance standards are met. This role oversees daily operations, drives continuous improvement, and supports Clemens Food Group’s values through effective team leadership, accountability, and collaboration.The Supervisor plays a key role in team development, production execution, compliance with regulatory requirements, and cross-functional initiatives.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentTrain new team members on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Lead and evaluate daily team member engagement meetingsConduct weekly qualification meetings for new team membersCoach team members on performance, SOPs, KPIs, and key expectationsAdminister disciplinary actions in accordance with company policyCoordinate team recognition, celebrations, and engagement activitiesPerform hiring manager responsibilities for non-exempt team membersDevelop and maintain cross-training matrices within the departmentExecute responsibilities aligned with change management plansUtilize Continuous Improvement tools to develop and engage team membersInvestigate and resolve team member complaints and workplace issuesComplete annual team member performance evaluationsProduction & Operational OversightComplete daily operational and safety checklistsEvaluate and ensure proper daily stretching and safety practicesConduct incident investigations as requiredParticipate in daily product audits and identify improvement opportunitiesInvestigate customer complaints and implement corrective actionsInvestigate internal and external food safety or quality deviations and implement corrective actionsObserve production processes to ensure SOPs are established, followed, and continuously improvedMonitor area KPIs, identify variances, and implement corrective actionsExecute Product Improvement RequestsApply Continuous Improvement tools to identify, improve, and sustain processesEnsure compliance with HACCP, SSOP, and Quality Control programsManage job sharing and cross-training to meet production schedules and build workforce depthEnsure availability of all operational materials and suppliesMaintain and track action items and improvement opportunities through completionEnsure timely and accurate production reporting to Cost AccountingSchedule required training and recertifications (safety, food safety, etc.)Submit maintenance work orders as neededCompliance & Administrative ResponsibilitiesReview and approve HACCP, SSOP, and Quality Control process recordsTrain non-exempt team members on GMP requirementsTrain non-exempt team members on safety complianceReview time and attendance records to ensure wage and hour law complianceTeam CFG & Leadership EngagementAttend and actively participate in weekly meetingsParticipate in leadership development opportunitiesReview and utilize personal development toolsSupport cross-functional team initiatives and company-wide projectsQualificationsPrevious supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferredKnowledge of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance (HACCP, SSOP, GMPs)Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to analyze KPIs and implement corrective actionsExperience using Continuous Improvement toolsStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with basic computer systems and production reporting toolsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsManufacturing/production environmentAbility to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periodsCompliance with PPE, safety, and food safety requirements
