Mental/Behavioral Health Technician, 2nd Shift, Part Time

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for Camber Children’s Mental Health provides compassionate care and supervision of children and youth. As a BHT you will provide support to help young people achieve their treatment goals through daily activities, teach them coping techniques and positive behavior skills. You can expect to work closely with nurses and therapist in reinforcing treatment plans, documenting client activity, and maintaining a safe environment. Must be 20 years old to apply. Background check and pre-employment drug screen required. Pay Rate: Pay for this position starts at $15.00 hourly and increases based on a combination of education and experience, plus shift differentials. Everyday: 3p-11p $1/hr Everyday: 11p-7a$1/hr Friday-Sunday: Friday 7p - Monday 7a $1.50/hr Schedule: 3pm-11:30pm Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited high school Licensure/Certification: Valid Driver's License and auto insurance. Experience: 1-3 months related experience and/or training working with adults or children in a behavioral health care or similar environment.
