Mixing Machine OperatorThe Mixing Machine Operator utilizes assorted equipment to blend ingredients into juice product for processing while following exact product specifications and recipes. This is a full-time, 1st shift, non-exempt position.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate and tend equipment to blend juice based on specific formulations; and appropriately record within batch sheetOperate computer control panel, or manually open valves, and initiate flow of juice through pasteurizing equipment into designated tanksEnsure compliance to plant policies and Federal and State regulations including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)/Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Controls (HARPC) and document pasteurization processPerform periodic tests to ensure product quality and adherence to formulationDocument test results; communicate deviations to management and co-workersPerform periodic change over and clean up procedures; utilizing the Cleaning in Place (CIP) system to include thorough documentation of all processes and proceduresStage ingredients prior to start of blend utilizing standard operating procedures for blending processesReport actual usage in the Business Planning and Control System (BPCS) software system and resolve any variances in distributionPerform physical ingredient inventory as needed/directedMaintain temperature records in refrigerated warehouse and tempering logsAdhere to quality and safety standardsOther duties and/or special projects as assignedPay: $22+/hr, wage based on experience; OT as requiredQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredPrevious manufacturing, warehouse or retail work experience preferred but will train the right candidate!Must be detail oriented and quick learnerMust be able to effectively communicateAbility to follow instructions and work within deadlinesAbility to work alone or as a member of a team, good cooperative skillsAbility to communicate verbally and by written reports
