Experienced Electrical Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Electrical Engineering related to projects such as laboratories, hospitals, manufacturing, educational, and commercial facilities.In this position, the ideal candidate performs conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy, coordinating with multiple disciplines and as electrical engineer, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on schedule. Other responsibilities of this position include:Staying current on codes and technologies appropriate to the electrical disciplinesEnsuring conformance with standards, established design practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and constructionOrganizing and conducting site visits for data collection and evaluation of electrical systems, equipment, components and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopesDeveloping and designing within a BIM design environmentCompleting assigned engineering and design tasks in accordance with client specified criteria and applicable codes and standardsReviewing junior team member's work for quality and recognition of training opportunitiesLeading junior engineers in engineering design development and professional growthCollaborating with the internal and external project team to execute the project from concept to completion.Bridgers & Paxton is one of the top 100 Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Technology Consulting Engineering firms in the nation with a reputation for superb design services.
