We look forward to meeting you!Key ResponsibilitiesBe able to recognize quality workmanship standards and visually identify problemsConfidently use all available inspection equipmentRun machines and do secondaries (deburring, tapping, countersink)Be able to work to tight tolerancesBe able to develop workholding strategies, tool lists, and MasterCam programs that produce parts within the estimated cycle times and at a high first-pass yield rateIndependently and quickly complete setups, and efficiently use cycle time to plan and begin the next tasksContribute to standard practices & setup proceduresContinually develop a deeper understanding of the types of tooling used and new use-cases for them (e.g., shapes, materials, coatings, and toolpath types)Maintain a work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.Perform preventative maintenance tasksSelect the proper measuring device to inspect the work-piece as required.Read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, control plan information, and related verbal instructions.Sets up, operates, and assists/edits programming of the CNC Lathe to perform a combination of machining operations such as facing, turning, boring, threading, drilling, reaming, broaching, and knurling metal work pieces to specifications.Inserts cutting tools/tool holders and position tools.Helpful ExperienceHAAS live tooling experienceMastercam, Bridgemill and G&M codeRequired ExperienceHave the ability to regularly lift and/or move 25-50 poundsPossess detailed operational knowledge of specific CNC mills and lathes to be operated safely and efficientlyUnderstanding of how to calculate and set machine controls.We offer competitive salary and benefits packages, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for career advancement within the company.
