Snowflake Data Engineer with Apache Doris Experience

Technology Consultant 2In the assigned job role of Technology Consultant 2, your area of responsibility will be as below:Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance providedFacilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutionsParticipate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stabilityConduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositoriesImplement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standardsDevelop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applicationsActively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliabilityMaintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projectsYour contribution to the team:A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skillsThe ability to handle end to end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementationA knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasksA passion for design and hands-on coding experienceA proactive approach to testing, troubleshooting, and refining our applicationsThe ability to work with cross-functional teams and do software integrationRequired skill and experience:Working experience in Snowflake and Apache Doris.Experience in writing complex SQLs, expertise in performance tuning of SQLs.Experience in Python scripting and programming.Hands-on Gen-AI skills preferably with Claude Code, etc and ability to create solutions in client context.Knowledge of BI, Reporting and Data Warehousing.Ability to play a Techno Functional role.Experience in designing end-to-end reporting and dashboarding applications.Experience is working with client business users and other stakeholders to understand reporting / dashboarding requirements and then translating them into technical design and implementing entire technical solutions.Experience in designing and developing ETL data pipelines.Hands-on experience in building Tableau dashboards.Hands-on experience in database and table design.Working with huge volumes of data would be an advantage.Expected to lead offshore data engineers.Preferred skill and experience:Experience in GEN AIExperience in SQLExperience in SparkApple GBI experience is preferredAdditional required qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
