What You'll DoAs Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success of the store, including:
Leading and directing all daily retail operations within company guidelines
Driving sales performance by setting goals, identifying opportunities, and coaching your team
Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
Hiring, training, and developing a high-performing team
Managing scheduling, payroll, and staffing to optimize productivity
Overseeing inventory accuracy, merchandising, and shrink control
Ensuring store presentation and displays maximize sales potential
Handling customer and employee concerns with professionalism and urgency
Monitoring financial performance, including sales, expenses, and margins
Preparing for promotions, advertising campaigns, and seasonal changes
Maintaining store safety, security, and compliance with company policies
Conducting team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing training
Acting as Key Holder, including opening/closing responsibilities and cash management
What You Bring58 years of retail and management experience
Proven success leading teams and achieving sales targets
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Experience with scheduling, payroll, and sales budgeting
Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic environment
Knowledge of hardware products and home improvement projects (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods
Capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Frequent bending, climbing, and twisting
Comfortable using POS systems, scanners, and computers
