Field Operations Manager – Large-Scale Solar Portfolio (Hawaii)Location: Oahu, Hawaii (Relocation support available) Employment Type: Full-Time | Leadership | On-siteWe’re leading one of the most ambitious residential energy projects in Hawaii—a multi-community solar network serving up to 5,000 homes across eight military housing developments. We’re looking for a proven operations leader to oversee all post-construction service and maintenance, ensuring consistent performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction across a large-scale portfolio of distributed energy systems.This role is built for a seasoned professional who thrives in complex, data-driven environments. You’ll be responsible for scaling operations, managing field teams, and maintaining the performance of thousands of installed assets.What You’ll DoLead all service, maintenance, and O&M operations after project handover.Manage a distributed team of technicians and subcontractors.Build scalable systems for performance monitoring, scheduling, and reporting.Track and report performance and downtime metrics across all installations.Coordinate with property management to schedule site visits and ensure safe, efficient access to all systems.Ensure safety, warranty, and compliance standards are upheld across all sites.Drive operational excellence—measure, refine, and improve every process.Collaborate directly with senior leadership.What You Bring10+ years managing large-scale field operations for 2,000–3,000+ installed assets (HVAC, building systems, industrial or semiconductor equipment, etc.).Strong operational, analytical, and leadership skills.Experience building and leading service teams across multiple sites.Willingness to relocate to Hawaii (relocation support provided).Solar experience not required—industrial or commercial asset management background preferred.Why Join UsLead operations for a first-of-its-kind distributed solar community.Shape the long-term service and maintenance model for a clean energy infrastructure.Competitive salary, benefits, and relocation package.Play a pivotal role in advancing Hawaii’s clean energy future.
