Python Developer (Chandler)

Job Title: Python Developer Duration: 18 Month W2 Contract  Location: Chandler, AZ Required Pay Scale: $60-$70/hour We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong experience in automation and configuration management, specifically someone who can independently design and develop Ansible playbooks. The ideal candidate will have a solid backend development background and hands-on experience in building scalable automation solutions across infrastructure and application environments. Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based automation scripts and toolsDesign and write Ansible playbooks for configuration management, deployment, and orchestrationAutomate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment workflowsCollaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to streamline processesTroubleshoot and resolve issues across environments, ensuring stability and performanceIntegrate automation solutions with CI/CD pipelinesRequired Skills:Strong proficiency in Python developmentHands-on experience writing and maintaining Ansible playbooksExperience with Linux/Unix environmentsUnderstanding of infrastructure automation and configuration management principlesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelinesStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsNice to Have:Middleware experience with:Apache TomcatApache HTTP ServerJBoss EAPExperience with containerization and orchestration tools:KubernetesRed Hat OpenShiftPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in Agile/DevOps environmentsExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools   About Matlen Silver Experience Matters.
